ABOUT US
Tailored to Me
OUR COMPANY
Tailored To Me is a Human Factors–led consultancy focused on helping organisations understand how everyday systems shape performance, wellbeing, and behaviour.
We work with leadership teams and people functions to examine how policy, decision-making, tools, environment, and culture interact to create both success and strain.
Rather than focusing on individual performance in isolation, our work looks at the wider organisational system.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
-
People rarely fail in isolation — issues can emerge quietly from the way systems evolve over time
-
Many organisational problems are design problems in disguise
-
Sustainable improvement begins with understanding before fixing
-
Psychological safety, trust, and performance are systemically linked
We believe organisations perform best the human experience and business performance are not treated as separate challenges.
DIRECTOR
Daniel Peat
Daniel is a Chartered Human Factors Specialist and Director of Tailored to Me, a consultancy focused on helping organisations understand how the reality of everyday work shapes performance, decision-making, and risk.
He brings over a decade of experience working in complex, safety-critical environments, where performance depends on how systems, processes, and human behaviour interact under pressure. He now applies this perspective to commercial organisations, using human factors and systems thinking to address challenges that may be treated too narrowly. This is where issues such as disengagement, inefficiency, or inconsistent performance are attributed to individuals rather than the conditions in which they operate.
Working with leadership teams and people functions, Daniel helps organisations see where formal expectations diverge from operational reality – across communication, decision-making, tools, and organisational pressures.
This work helps surface a critical blind spot: the conditions shaping day-to-day behaviour, decisions and performance are often the ones least visible in leadership data. As a result, organisations can make well-intentioned decisions that fail to address the system conditions that may be shaping performance.
By making these conditions visible, Daniel supports more informed decisions, reduces avoidable risk, and helps more effective and sustainable organisational performance.
